M.A. Francis & Associates, Incorporated is comprised of a group of highly experienced consulting engineers.  For over a decade, we have provided our clients with professional assistance in the areas of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing design engineering.  In addition to this we offer several other value added services to our clients, which include consultation in the areas of security, energy management, control systems, fire protection, fire alarms, life safety, and plan checking all of which adhere to code compliance.

Since we are a relatively small firm, the Principal assumes the overall responsibility of each project.  The Principal also maintains correspondence with every client and exhibits direct involvement with each project.  Therefore, enabling M.A. Francis & Associates, Inc. to establish a loyal clientele base.  We esteem ourselves on having a large number of repeat clients who are more than satisfied by our engineering and project performance.  Due to our experience in the plan checking for the City of Long Beach and other municipalities, we have cultivated a strong working relationship with a number of regulatory employees at several different levels.  These relationships have enabled us to better serve our clients and has permitted us to currently assist 17 cities in the area of plan checking.

Our responsibilities as consulting engineers include determination of project scope and approach coordination with the client, as well as, with other consultants and utility/regulatory agencies.    M.A. Francis & Associates, Inc. provides our clients with an expanded scope of services with the Autodesk Architectural desktop 2008.  The computer aided design and drafting has proven to compliment the skills of our professionals and have produced cost-effective designs that have been most beneficial to our clients.

We also use the most up to date computer systems for our daily mechanical, plumbing, and electrical calculations.  We are also able to produce panel schedules, forms, generator sizing, lighting (indoor and outdoor), short circuit and coordination studies, voltage drop, Title 24, standard details, specifications, and much more which enables us to meet deadline and budget requirements while at the same time providing superior service to our clients.
